2nd coolant flush and water pump

Hey all- I'm hoping for a response, but I realize these forums seem to be dying down as of recently.

My 2015 6mt 228i is just under 140k mi and I'm due for my 2nd coolant flush thermostat and water pump replacement. I guess my question is, is the aftermarket replacement water pump prone to the same failures as the OEM pump?

I think the worst dimension of the OEM pump having plastic impellers or something of the sorts.

Has anyone seen a failure after replacing the OEM pump? What sort of risk am I in?

The installation of after market cooling system parts is strictly verboten.
