Other than making an easier wheel mount, I don't see the advantage of the studs over bolts. Especially as noted in regard to using spacers... But thanks for recommendation!

If you stick with bolts, get one of these to hang the wheel on:

Bill, are you still just running stock wheels? I am trying to find wheels that will fit with the Kern adapters (currently run Enkei 18x8.5 ET38 and they didn't fit). I was looking at Apex SM-10 in 18x8.5 ET35 and the Apex guys can't confirm it will fit... can't seem to find any certain options in 18 inch.

I don't know if the 3 series knuckle bolts up or not but I'd love to know. |

I am currently attempting to do front and rear M3 rotors with SLG adaptors, but I'm hitting a few issues. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2049292
In regards to the handbrake, I cut up 185mm shoes, removed friction material from the 160mm shoes, and had them welded together. Not quite in the car yet, but I do not foresee any fitment issues with clearance from my poking around at the weekend! |

Current game plan is:
- New custom front brackets offering 19mm spacing of the front caliper in lieu of SLG's 23mm. 3D printed bracket just arrived but I know it will need some work before final assembly - Rear: 3mm spacer between hub and rotor, and a 3mm ring on the hub - 75.0mm->72.6mm. Front bracket manufacturer wasn't keen to make a revised rear for me... So will persist with the SLG unit. I'll post up some pics this weekend! |

And Kern's brackets fit perfectly, if you wanted to skip all that other work. |

Anyone knows which how to fit the M2 back rotor (370mm/380mm). I suppose that this kit is only meant for the front rotor?

At this point I wish I just purchased a rear brake kit from Paragon Performance with Alcon calipers! |

Kern417 makes a kit for the front and rear, but as we discussed earlier you will lose your e-brake function.
