I went to non-runflats in 2018 and haven't worried about a flat. It's been 15 years since I've needed a spare. I keep an old tire in the garage in case a replacement is hard to find. Don't have any spare wheels.

Welcome!
There is a new tire thread like this nearly every week! Use the Search function to review the previous threads, and be sure to check the Tire/Wheel section. I had a good experience with the Pilot Sport All Season 3, but no data on the A/S 4. Good luck! https://www.tirerack.com/tires/surve...jsp?type=UHPAS https://www.2addicts.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=521

For the OP: Note that using Google to search this forum is generally far superior to using this site's search and advanced search features. One issue with Google's search to be aware of is that it will frequently return results from other Bimmerpost forums in addition to our 2addicts forum. If that's an issue for a particular search, playing with your search criteria can often minimize the amount of unhelpful results.

I just bought a 2018 M240i Xdrive with 13K miles on it, for the wife and it has a new set of MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S 4 which I am impressed I must say. I drove 700 miles from Tampa FL to Raleigh NC in rain, construction zones and high speed sections and they were great. I had Michelin PS4 on my 911 they were great too, so much grip, even at the track. I dont skimp when it comes to tires and performance, I dont care about mileage, I care about how they handle in heavy cornering with suspension loaded up, and in rain/high speed lane changes etc. I now have a Cayman S, 3.4L tuned, and that has Conti Extreme Sport 2's, which are very good, but the Michelin PS4 I preferred, though not fair to compare a 911 rear engine/suspension set up to a Cayman Mid engine suspension set up, but the side wall on the Michelin is really good, when you have understreer or overstreer...
