Nothing. It's been at the body shop for 2 weeks. Hopefully. I'll have it back this week. The Honda SUV rental I've been driving is gonna breathe a sigh of relief.

I drove mine, which I now do less and less even though I enjoy it as much as I ever have.

From Cincinnati, I ran OH-131 out to Fayetteville, US-68 down to Ripley, and then rolled back on US-52 along the Ohio River (which was very high).

While out of the built-up urban areas, it was remarkable how few cars were on the roads. Living in a basketball-mad region (which I'm not from), I'm thinking maybe people were home watching one basketball tournament or another.

Will it improve cornering speeds? this will highly depends on you as driver. Personally while I feel that I drive corner more confidently, I dont feel like I hit corner faster.
That makes sense. Thanks.

Over the weekend, replaced front and rear brake rotors and pads. Installed front lip. Now I have to drive even slower to get outta my driveway.

To exit and enter my driveway, I lay down 2X4s to fill-in the street-to-curb transition so the front lip doesn't wear the concrete curb away too fast.

The neighbors laugh, but they're all driving SUVs.

Entering/exiting driveways on an angle helps greatly too. I noticed stock ride height cars scrape on ours if you drive straight on. Probably not going to add a lip to mine, even though I have one sitting in the basement...

I like Curb Ramps. They're heavy (made of recycled tires usually), stay in place when you drive over them, and kids can't move them. They look like they belong (somewhat), instead of like random trash.

I gave in and put a front plate on my car. This removes that nervous feeling I get when I drive by cops here in MN (where front plates are required) though I have not heard of anyone getting pulled over for not having a front plate. I really like the product that Sto n Sho has making it so easy to take the plate and mount on and off. Definitely starting slow with the mods. A couple weeks back I had the full front and the rockers PPF'ed, and window tint done. Next up is wheel spacers.

Your M2 actually looks pretty good in that color, did not like the baby blue one I saw.

Actually registered it in another State that'll allow me to wear just one plate (rear)... So happy! Lol

Front tow bracket plate holder probably for sale soon, hahaha.

No pics because I need to get home and swap plates first!

My 17 yr old daughter bought me the red button for Christmas on all on her own initiative.

It wasn't really on my mod list, but finally got around to installing it. I appreciate that she thought to get me a thing for the car, and then did her own research and proud she actually got the right part.

I'd be golden if I had a two-car garage, but the driveway for the one-car garage I've got isn't wide enough to achieve the sharp angle I'd need with the car lowered and the #*!@$+ curb higher than it should or needs to be. On both sides of me are units with two car garages, and they've got curbs I could easily clear.

One of my neighbors had one of these...i saw it for a while but then he removed it. Didn't think much of it but then I asked and he said he received a letter from HOA to remove it from the stree.

I have a fairly wide driveway so I have plenty of room to angle out...i just go super slow when I reach the end of the driveway.

I had a chance to get a deal on a ZF blue one but it never felt right for the shape of the M2. I also didn't want a flashy colored car and get unwanted attention. I'm good with the BSM blending in but keeping it clean and free of waterspots is a nightmare. I might have to pony-up for ceramic coating.

This pump thingy arrived today...

I've also got plugs and vanos actuators on the preventative maintenance list, that will be done this weekend, if not tonight.
Motor is still hot though...

Changed oil last weekend, still need to send the sample to Blackstone

Was a nice warm sunny day for a change. So I did a driveway oil change.

Old oil was super watery and did the spoon under the faucet trick. Made a bit of a mess.
