code 121201 on 2014 228i with dinantronics piggyback
Just a heads up to folks running the Dinan piggyback.
Engine light came on and opened up Bimmerlink. It threw a 121201. Boost pressure sensor, plausibility, overrun: pressure to high. Did a search on the code and it came back with a few members experiencing the same error with the Dinan piggyback. Purchased the part back in April of 2020. I did not see anything specific to the 2 series, but the code came up on multiple BMW models with the piggyback Went to open the dinantronics app on my samsung galaxy s23. Turns out the app was not compatible with this newer version of galaxy. Got out my old s8 galaxy to use the app and see what setting I was in. It was in sport so I moved it to standard. That did not correct the error, so I removed the piggyback. Any advice? I like the simplicity of the piggyback and are there any alternatives? Also, strange that Dinan has not kept the phone app current with newer galaxy models. Anyone else experience this issue? Thanks

I removed the piggyback and went for a drive. The error code went away.
It has been wet here in NorCal and will continue to be wet for the near future. This wet weather affects the electronics. Plan on reinstalling once the rain stops and give it another go.
