Car is a 2017 m240, xdrive. Stock ride hight.

Wheels
18x8.5 +32
18x9.5 +35

Tires
225/40
255/35

It looks like this will clear front and rear with some poke correct? Doesn't even look like any crazy camber need to be done either... but I'm no expert, can anyone chime in before I order?

Thank you!

From my experience and what I’ve read, the rear will not fit. A more aggressive 9.5” wide wheel offset would be in the 42-45 mm range and a conservative offset would be 58 mm. Your front fitment is also more aggressive than the typical aggressive offset of 35 mm for an 8.5” wide wheel. 8.5” conservative offset is 40-45 mm

As mentioned, you will need at least +45 for the rear and ideally more like +50 or +58.

So the 32 and 35 would stick out way too far? Or do I have it backwards and they would be in too far?

Both stick out too far. The rear is much worse than the front. A good setup requiring no excessive negative camber, etc. direct bolt on setup is front 8.5et40 and rear 9.5et58.

Gotcha.. so this would rub on the fender? Damn fitment industries and their fitment guide sucks lol

The 9.5et35 even with significant negative camber would result in fender damage. It’s a ~0.5” more aggressive than an already aggressive setup!

Would it work with an 8.5?

Rear. 255 or maybe a 245.

The problem.is, I really want to run a certain wheel for the price, weight etc and would love the extra tire put back for the new turbo. I don't wanna run apex as they are heavier than I want.

No. It would barely work with a stretched 225 tire on the rear. To run a 255, you need an 8.5et45, maybe a 8.5et40 with decent rear negative camber. I’d recommend 8.5et45 over an 8.5et40. A front 8.5et45 with a 255 may require a spacer depending on the dampers you have.

I'm gonna run a 225 up front so that's not an issue. I know for a fact this wheel at 8.5 32 works with a 225 with zero modifications. It's the rear I was worried about.
Thanks for all the help!

Front should be fine with a 225/40-18, may require some negative camber if it’s a wider 225 tire (depends on the brand/type).

Rear 9.5et45 with a 255 is very aggressive and will likely rub even with -2 deg of camber. 9.5et58 is ideal and your 9.5et45 is 0.51” more outboard. The most aggressive you’d probably want to go in the rear with a 9.5 would be 9.5et52 but it’ll require some negative camber (at least -2 deg, possibly more). I’m running a rear setup that’s equivalent to a 9.5et50 BUT it’s running a stretched 235 tire. It would definitely rub with a 255 tire. I’d say 9.5 with an offset of 52-58 (closer to 58 is better) is where you want to be for a simple direct bolt on setup. The width of the 255 also needs to be accounted for. There can be a 1/4-1/2” difference in 255 section and tread widths. Which tires are you planning on running? Is your car lowered?

The DWS06 runs close to nominal 225 and 255 (0.2” and 0.1” narrower tread width front and rear, respectively).

If you’re not lowered and you don’t mind an aggressive setup then the 9.5et45 might work but you’ll likely need to dial in more negative rear camber. I personally would not run this setup.

Stock height xdrive with adaptive suspension. Zero plans on changing it.

I'm checking to see if they have a et50 instead if the et45
