How bout BMW put a fix where you can't drive the car until its at proper temp

The auto-start for the A/C at ignition seems to slower the whole warming process. Another con of the new standard features. Have to turn it off to stop shaking.

Old thread but:
You might be able to determine if it's at "operating" temp by attempting to check engine oil level. If the temp is below some threshold (i have no idea what it is) the button to start the checking process will be greyed out |
