A lot of people don't know what antilag is. And when you google antilag, you're going to get videos of rally cars and Forza gameplay. I think an explanation of antilag, and its specific effects on the B58, including reasons you would use it on a B58-powered car, would be useful. You don't owe anyone an explanation, but if all you have to add is cynicism then maybe don't add anything at all. It may be a somewhat basic question on the surface, but it's not stupid.

You need to Google "mhd antilag" to get much more relevant results.
Antilag: Allows you to quickly build a set amount of boost while limiting acceleration, then quickly take off once released. To activate antilag, press and hold the cruise control RES button on your steering wheel and apply heavy throttle. Our antilag strategy will adjust the engine calibration to build boost. Once boost is built, release the button and go! The time required to reach boost target will vary depending on your turbo, but even large upgraded turbos are able to hit high boost within 1-2 seconds! There are also various safeties in place such as coolant temp, EGT temp, max duration per use, and cooldown time between uses. These values, as well as the time delay after button press until antilag activates are all set to safe values for those using the OTS antilag flash option. OTS users will have the ability to adjust the antilag boost target (max value depends on engine). https://mhdtuning.com/products/mhd-s...icense-for-b58 Sounds similar to Launch Control. |

I didn't explain it because I don't know how it works with MHD. I know how anti-lag generally works in a vague sense, but I'm not going to pretend I know how it works specifically for the B58 platform. I was just calling you on being an ass for no reason. The forums are better for everyone if people aren't scared to ask questions. Also note "you don't owe anyone an explanation...". Didn't say you're obligated to answer the question, in fact, I specified the fact that you aren't.
