Purchased this intake in December and installed early January 2023..
Incredible throttle response, love the sound, but my F22 does not seem to like it. Odd acceleration on cold starts, weird jolts in the 1700 rpm range and this morning it threw a CEL. (will see what the code is this evening) It's like the engine doesn't know how to handle all the extra air and especially colder temperature air. I'm at a loss on this one.. |

Are you sure the intake causes the issue?

I reinstalled the stock intake last night and will run the car like this moving forward.
I knew it was a crap shoot installing a higher flow Intake so it is what it is.. I love the design of the Injen.. It's incredibly well made but my car just never settled into it. It seems some of these cars don't care and others throw a temper tantrum! |

I have both, and while the CTS is slightly "better" the M2 airbox is very good, and absolutely better than stock. To get the best performance, pair it with an inlet. |

Exact model CTS are you referring to? I see in another post that you ranked the intakes least to best from experience.. I'm on a stock air intake with an AFE filter Last edited by griddle; 02-16-2023 at 08:46 AM.. |

I know, I know --- everyone keeps posting how Dinan is awful, MST over FTP, Wagner is overpriced and MHD is cheaper & that VRSF 5" IC just is not doing its job ----- hell - I have even replaced all my adaptive struts with the same OEM parts ---- Last edited by 123Britt; 02-24-2023 at 07:53 AM.. |

I've had the Dinan intake for 3+ years and have never had an issue like this at all.

I would go for the CTS intake. I have had zero problems with installation or cells. I had an AEM intake similar to this and it threw a cell every damn time because of the maf sensor placement. CTS got it right.
An inlet upgrade with this helps a lot and to get some cool air in there get the AFE scoop. |
