It's nice to see the Tundra in the background, too. Of all the combos I've owned, the best has been my M240i and my Gen 2 Tundra with the 8' bed. I put 110K on that truck before I sold it when I moved into a condo with limited parking space.

I purchased that Tundra with 14mi on it in 2007, it now has 273K and still going strong. The biggest problem is that it LOVES the taste of gas... hence the M240.
Ive wanted a BMW for quite a while but the utility of the truck is just hard to get past. Now that I have the 240, getting 28MPG vs. 12 is pretty amazing and its SOOOO FUN to drive. Now I have my cake, and I get to eat it too. |

Finished wrapping the front bumper on my M235i, has me really excited for the finished product, even as someone who works with vinyl a on daily basis this bumper was no joke! And it required a bunch of inlays, but turned out looking pretty good I think, rest of the car should be smooth sailing 🤞

Finished wrapping about 75% of my m235i, just have the trunk, rear bumper and driver side door left, this color definitely suits the 2 very nicely, my low quality pics don't quite do it justice though.

Just did an oil change boxed back up the used oil and its ready to go back to FCP euro for there lifetime replacement. So all said and done for those that havent done this before total for 7 Liters of liquid Moly full synthetic and a Mann oil filter after refund the total cost was for shipping it back ($15). The only thing you have to do is be willing to outlay the initial cost of the oil change kit and wait for the refund. Still cant do an oil change buying the oil on sale at Walmart and a filter for that price. If you are keeping your car long term this is the way to go .
Oh and just got done with a wash and interior detailing Last edited by pmcmtnbkr; 07-04-2022 at 12:06 PM.. |

Flashed my car with the XHP trans tune stage 3. Only driven a few miles in between meetings but feels different and a bit quicker. Next up is ordering and installing the B58 Gen 2 TU fuel pump so I can run the MHD HPFP map and a bit more ethanol.

Finally got my MNLasercutting kit for the M1/M2 buttons. Ordered two months ago and they were waiting on a supplier in China for some of the connectors. Easy install. Hardest part was getting the mode change panel off the console. While it does not give memory functions like the true M switches it does allow me to change mode ( SPORT, SPORT+ and COMFORT) without removing hands from the wheel.
Then I went to put the charger on since I had not driven the car since the 1st of July and look what was back on the oil filler cap. Gotta get that little sucker before he starts chowing down on the wiring. |

Go easy on him now; he at least had the courtesy to stay away from the important parts.

Just curious: why put the charger on after only five days?
I recently left mine undriven for three weeks and it started up just fine. Not to jinx things, but the car still has the original battery after 7 years. |

The last drive was to PT and then it sat for 4 days. Terminal voltage was 12.4, I prefer to keep the battery fully charged which would be 12.7. Sure it would have started, but that is just my personal preference and a way to ensure longer battery life. |
