2016 M235i 82k Miles $27,000 Orignial Options: -Estoril Blue -MPSS tires -6 spd Manual -Cold Weather Pack -Sunroof delete (Slicktop) -M Perfomance LSD -Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers -Black Kidney Grills -No backup cam, navigation, parking sensors, technology pack I purchased this car from BMW Boston in December 2017 as a CPO car with 24k miles. I am the second owner. Over the last 3 3/4 years I have put about 60k on it. During my ownership while it was still under the maintenance plan it has been serviced by BMW Peabody. Other service not covered under the maintenance plan has been preformed by Wile Motorsport or myself. In August 2018 and about 40k miles BMW Peabody replaced the transmission under warranty. BMW Peabody came to the conclusion that BMW Boston damaged the input shaft while replacing the dual mass flywheel. I have paperwork, for the new transmission, clutch and DMF. In September 2020 I spun a rod bearing at Watkins Glen at about 75k miles. BMW of Peabody replaced the engine with a brand new N55 under warranty. The new engine has not seen any track time. I have paperwork from BMW Peabody. The Carfax will probably show front end damage in May 2018. While on the highway, a car in front of me kicked up some debris and it hit my bumper and hood. It cut through the Xpel and scuffed the paint. The bumper and hood were re sprayed by Hollis Auto Body in Ashland. Right after the re spray new PPF was put on the bumper, full hood, and front fenders. I have pictures and a dash cam video from when the car was hit by the debris. I really do not want to sell this car, but I need to in order to pursue BMW Club Racing in my E36. I would love to sell it to someone that will care for it as much as I did and appreciate how special it is. There is a lien on the car through BMW Financial. Engine/Driveline: -New N55, Broken in for the first 1,200 miles, and then oil was changed. The oil was just changed again with Redline 5w30 and a Mahle Filter -Fabspeed Sport Cat Downpipe (original included) -Dinan midpipe -Tuningwerk muffler (German company, sounds great) -Evolution Raceworks Charepipe -Vrsf 5" Intercooler (original included) -Intake heat taped (can be removed) -Rogue Engineering Octane Short shifter (I helped develop this kit for F2x and have organized group buys) -Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts -Redline D4 Trans fluid, replaced at 75k last august. -Oem fluid for LSD, replaced at 75k last august. Those are the best looking wheels I've seen on an F22, bar none. Very nice!
GLWS!

Hi! Sorry for bumping this but I am almost (99%) certain that I just purchased your car from a local dealer here in MA. All the timing matches with mileage on the carfax I was provided, the locations for where it was serviced (Wile), it has all the exact same modifications, front brake heat wear, etc.
The carfax didn’t mention the engine replacement. The dealer was adamant it wasn’t tracked (or just didn’t know) even though many signs pointed to it, when I asked. While searching, I found your posts and this has to be the car. I’d love to both confirm it was your car, and if possible pick your brain on any documentation / service history / etc. you might have as the dealer didn’t have much (though the service tech messaged me saying they had “some” parts for it - not sure what yet). Not sure if you can initiate a PM/DM, or have a preferred method of contact! Thanks so much for your time! |

I just did some research on my end and I think you're right. I have a decent amount of service info you can have.
