Wheels on Mineral Gray car ?
When buying my car I really wanted it in black but there weren't any cars in that color. So I have this grey car but idk what color wheels ?? I was thinking of wrapping it satin black but the wrap and then the wheels is not in the budget right now.
Friends tell me brushed silver would go with this color. But I'm not convinced, anyone have any pics ? Brushed silver or gunmetal ? |

BC Forged KL01
Similar situation here... I wanted mineral gray but not the black wheels. I couldn't find one at the time with the bi-color wheels. The black wheels are now mounted with snow tires so that worked out OK.
These are BC Forged KL01s in a color called Brushed Gray. It is a translucent color and their appearance varies depending on lighting. In really bright sunlight they even seem to have a purplish hue to them. Here are a couple pics when I initially put them on the car. https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...&postcount=278 Below are a couple newer pics that show some of the lighting changes. These 2 pictures were taken minutes apart shortly before sunset - one overcast and the other when the sun broke through the clouds. I also looked at their Brushed Black - a brownish tint that I didn't like - and Gunmetal - not enough contrast for my taste. A buddy has Gloss Gunmetal KL01s on a silver E46. When I'm parked next to him the Gunmetal appears nearly identical to Mineral Gray. Enjoy the hunt!! It took me 2 years to pick mine and I've been very happy. |

I went with Anthracite because I thought it matched the MGM pretty well, if you like contrast though, I'd go with a silver or bronze.
