I've bought a few of their offerings. The visors, radio cover and the knee rest. Just placed an order for the cf side air vents to complete the look. Obviously, overall happy with their products, but was disappointed in the knee rest. Claims 50% more padding. Don't see it.

I was today years old when I learned that, if you close the cupholder cover, the space there width-wise is absolutely perfect for holding an iPhone 12 (not the bigger model) with an Apple leather case on it.
Normally I put my phone on the passenger seat - in the gap between the thigh support and the seat itself. I leave the passenger thigh bolster open enough to hold the phone and that's where I've put my phone for years in my BMW's. I may start using the cupholder cover, if I don't have a drink obviously Still looking for ideal place to keep a handgun... |

I ended up purchasing a set of square M235 wheels (yay). I originally intended on these being my snows but, after some elbow grease come to find they're in better shape than the wheels I currently have.
Is there any real concern if I were to run a square tire setup on the stock staggered wheels? I know that would kill my chances of rotating the tires but I think I'd rather keep the new set for my summers.

I was looking for downsides.
I ordered 225/40/18 all the way around so it's not a huge difference - same in the front, slightly narrower than stock in the rear but should fit both fine. I don't expect to use these more than two seasons anyway. I'm slightly skeptical of the need for snow tires after moving to the city - given I made it through last winter without even thinking twice about it. However, I also was working remotely 80% of the time so there wasn't much need to drive when the roads weren't clear. But we'll give them another try. Hoping the Sottozeros are what they're cracked up to be. I used to run X-Ice and absolutely HATED the dry performance. In Colorado, 95% of the time it's just cold. 4% of the time its cold and wet. And 1% of the time there's actually snow on the roads.

Ouch. I picked up a screw three weeks ago. Fortunately, I could not have hit it any more dead center if I had tried. Mine was patchable.

Carbon fiber OEM shifter trim kit and center console just arrived from Turner Motorsport, and I installed them. Super easy, need a T-8 Torx driver, and 10 minutes of your time. I did use a no-mar panel pry tool to remove the center console.
No more ugly silver plastic in the middle of the car! The shifter console surround is also black Alacantara, a nice surprise. Based on the pictures I saw, I thought it was the regular OEM black plastic just with carbon fiber trim ring... but nope! EDIT - Last edited by NateEsq.; 09-26-2021 at 05:26 PM.. |

I made a rear trunk brace out of one of my old carbon fiber/ Kevlar hockey sticks! I don't think it will do anything but it ads a bit of l my two favorite things together in a unique way.

Took the slow route home from work (something I very rarely do) and spotted someone's wallet on side of the road and was able to return it back to the person at their address. Guy had a lot of cash and his social security number next to his license, probably not the smartest thing haha. Guess he's lucky it was me finding it
