F22 Tail Light Wiring

Is there a wiring diagram for the F22's tail lights out there? One of my brake light bulbs wasn't working so I replaced it but the new one didn't working either. I tested the old bulb in a different socket and it worked just fine so I'm thinking the actual socket isn't getting power, but I can't figure out which cable goes to which socket. Any help?

What brand is the new bulb? BMW's are finicky when it comes to bulbs.

Thank you and I also want to note that ever since I upgraded to LCI LED (Euro) taillights, I haven't encountered this burnt out brake/turn signal issue.

This particular incident is only prevalent on the pre-LCI lights with incandescence bulbs.

My theory is that the original pin for the ground is too thin to carry enough reverse polarity reliably for incandescent bulbs. So eventually the pin builds up enough electricity resistance, melting the harness, unless this SIB modification is carried out or DIYing a parallel ground connector to offset some of the polarity.

LEDs uses a fraction of power in comparison to incandescent bulbs so the demand for reverse polarity is much less, thus, this issue does not occur.

FYI. There was a recall some time ago about the wiring with the tail lights. If you are under warranty you might be able to get bmw to fix it. I had an issue with the blinker failing. Was something to do with the terminals.

Thanks. Yeah this whole thing started when my ground wire had a short circuit. I bought the updated socket bulb holder and wire fix kit and installed those. Everything works now except the middle brake socket so I'm thinking maybe I didn't crimp the wire leading to that properly.
