I was wondering if it's possible to flash back to the stock M235i tune with Bootmod3 after using the OTS maps?
My worry is the stock N55 tune isn't the same one currently loaded on my stock M235i. |

Did you flash the OTS tune yourself? If I recall correctly, Bootmod3 should have created a factory map backup.

I wouldn't worry too much about the stock maps, once you flash Stage 1 or 2 you'll never go back. |

and even if you do go back to stock, it'll be a copy of what you have now

Idk if it's an exact copy, but I can attest that it will go back to stock performance. I've been back on stock for awhile after the tune broke my charge pipe. I'll be getting a new charge pipe soon and then I'll go back to stage 1.

Check out step 5 in the bootmod3 documentation. You gain access to the stock tune (wether it’s through a backup of yours or they already have them, I don’t know), and you can easily flash it back without locking the DME again if it’s temporary.
I flash back the stock tune in the winter since traction is an issue anyway, and I get to not spend on 94 octane in the winter |
