cleaning leaves from tail light
At this time of the year I am constantly cleaning leaves from under the hood and in the trunk.
My question is on the body where the trunk gasket is the channel that lead down towards the tail light assembly collects leaves under the light assembly lip. If I have explainded this well , how do I get the leaves and dirt out that collect at the leading edge of tail light assembly ? thanks |

Yes I know what you are describing. Fortunately, the leaves for me are always big enough that I can retrieve them by hand. If you have smaller bits getting in there, perhaps a hand vac with a wand attachment will do the trick?
Best of luck.... DBinOC |

I just remove the taillight and clean everything behind there once a year. It's super easy to remove.

i looked at this the other day and actually removed the tail light at least on the m235 the leaves slide down and out of the tail light bucket. I wouldnt let them collect long term that would keep moisture there and of course cause rust
