So I disconnected the battery and then close the trunk out of habit. So how do I now open the trunk to reconnect the negative cable. Any help would be appreciated. This is a 2015 and 235

*Have not tried this myself but worth a shot.
Assuming you did not lock the doors and are still able to get into the car, I would pop open your hood and hook up the car to a battery tender/charger. If you don't have one I assume using another vehicle's battery would yield similar results (with jumper cables) , maybe do it without the other car running. If you vehicle functions ie door lights come on, etc., then all you have to do is push the trunk button by the door or your remote? This seems logical to me but I have not done it myself nor attempted to do. Try at your own risk.

There is an old thread on this site where this happened to two other people. The solution is get a jump from another car to your connections in the engine compartment. This will generate enough power to open the trunk.

Fixed with lithium ion battery starter. What a pain in the butt. On the bright side bms stage 1 and bms intake on with no warnings and runs and sounds marvelous.
