Ac causes slight shake on startup

I've noticed when the ac is on during start up or sometimes during normal driving it causes an ever so slight shake almost completely unnoticeable. But noticeable enough when you turn the ac off and it stops. It only happens sometimes as well. The car has 25k miles so idk if it is the compressor? Maybe I'm wrong? Any input?

I’ve noticed this as well. I think it is normal for our cars, but I always assumed that the AC was just overly taxing on the 4 cylinder. Hadn’t heard about this for the 6 so much. Do you have a manual transmission? I find when the AC is on it really changes the way I need to shift. (Faster), as the usual rev-hang goes away when the compressor turns on. But yes, I can confirm that there’s a definite noticeable rumble and slight rpm Idle increase

I've got the straight 6 x drive auto. Yeah it's definitely there. I'm hoping it's not a real issue cause warranty just ran out a few months ago.

I have it too, sometimes it thrums, for lack of a better word. Shutting of the a/c makes it stop. I wonder if its a balancer or a/c pulley on the way out. 2016 33k miles

I've noticed that, too, usually when I'm idling at a stoplight. The first time it surprised me, but I've gotten used to it, and it doesn't last long.

Try changing the spark plugs; they're cheap and a good start on process of elimination to narrowing down the root cause..
