Favorite smart phone mounting in F22?
Anyone have a particularly useful or favorite way to mount a smart phone in your F22? I'm not quite happy with the various methods I've tried.
Thanks I'm advance for sharing. |

I use this magnetic guy - stuck in the space btw the upper and lower controls dash controls. Comes with a metal plate you stick inside your phone case.

Anything magnetic that clips onto the AC vent works well for me. Only downside is you have to have a magnet strip behind your phone (I just stick it on the inside of my case so it's NBD.

I had a Belkin car cup holder mount that I liked. However, after dropping my phone and shattering the screen I bought a bulky phone case and now my phone w/ case is too wide to fit in the holder.

Proclip or Rennline are the two best options

OK, this is pretty much just trolling ... BUT ...
One of the reasons I got my M240i was that I was tired of having to use my phone mounted somewhere for SatNav etc. and wanted a car with a decent sized screen I could use for CarPlay. |

I glued a typical vent mounted wireless charging holder to a cup holder mount. I wanted minimal wiring so it's perfect. The wire is wrapped neatly around the cup holder mount stem and into the charger right next to the cup holder.
