Oh sorry, didn't want to sow doubt.. difficult to see purely on a photo!
Looks a good stance!! Did mss elaborate on the different springs? Are they different to manage the famous/apparent BMW ride height difference? How does one set the spring heights up? Say you want 15mm drop, do you calculate the height adjuster to a defined thread height? Or is it trial and error? |

I see these available for the M240i but would they also be compatible with the M235i? Does anyone know the drop range F&R?
I'd like to reduce bodyroll, firm up the suspension a bit but don't want too much of a drop as my wheel offset and LCA & TS upgrade won't allow for it. |

Thanks man! And I'm not sure what you mean by 'HAS', but the kit is great so far. Not a ton of miles yet but handling is definitely tightened up and improved - instant feedback. Squat and dive is virtually non-existent. Ride quality was very close to stock, just a tad stiffer with the stock 18 inch MPSS tires.
I thought ride quality would suffer a bit after mounting the larger wheels and lower profile tires, but just the opposite occurred. The Continental ECS's are pretty amazing. Grip and ride quality are both noticeably improved, and they are way more compliant over small bumps and imperfections in the road. I'll never go back to MPSS tires with these on the market, and I can't see how the MPS4S would be worth the significant price jump. I definitely need an alignment now, as I get very minor vibrations at 75+ mph and a very slight pull to the right, otherwise I'm extremely happy. Overall, every bit as good as the kit that was on my S3, and I'm a lot happier with the drop on the front tires on this car. Much more uniform. |

Looks great!
What's your wheel size/offsets? Do you have any other suspension mods (ie M3/M4 LCA & TS)? |

Going to pull the trigger on the MSS kit. Do you need to pair this with adjustable end links since the car will be lowered?

Just a bit of unboxing. Sorry for so many pics but just thought some of you may want to see them. Appears to be quite well made. Collars are machined well and the the threads are pre-lubed and move smoothly. Nice that the kit comes with new bumpstops and other rubber parts as well.

I installed one of the fronts yesterday. Doesn't seem to go as low as I expected on the lowest setting. I'm sure it will settle down a little bit more but I'm not concerned as this is my daily and was only looking for a mild drop. At least I'll be able to lift it up a bit for winter driving.

Hi guys,
I have a set on order for my 2015 M235XI. They should be going on this weekend. It will be interesting to see how they compare to my stock suspicion since im running a very aggressive wheel setup and honestly may no be able to do any drop from stock height. Should be interesting since I have the added weight of the AWD as well. Im also pairing these with Dinan bump stops. Stay tuned. Here is my wheel setup, wish me luck! FRONT TIRE: MPSS 8.5 +39 235/40/18 22.2lbs REAR TIRE: MPSS 9.5 +45 265/35/18 25.8lbs Last edited by SerenVoX; 05-19-2020 at 09:49 PM.. Reason: Added wheel size |

Is the F2x/F3x version like the F8x one where you have to undo the lower camber arm to adjust the rear height since they placed the adjuster at the bottom? It kind of looks that way from GoodMoodley's pics.
It kind of stumps me why they'd put the height adjuster where access to it is restricted by other control arms other than to save cost by not having another spring coupler. I'm really surprised they didn't put the adjuster at the top like every other coilover/HAS kit for the F8x version.
