Anything new in the MHD world?
Im considering it but finding info seem a bit tough. I specifically am looking for stage 2+ feedback and that there is a DP fix option as well as how to enable the DP fix. I read somewhere about a 3/6 gear torque limiter option(auto trans) as well that Im not to clear bout. |

MHD just released a new update with supported OTS map for Pure Stage 2 owners, along with some other F Series revisions to include increase boost, smoother drivability, and recalculated iDrive sports gauge.

Just bought the car I don't know if I want MHD or BM3. I like BM3 because it works on Apple. But I used MHD on my n54 so I like that also....

Idk compared to the MHD, but BM3 is nice and smooth. Much smoother than the AA8 piggyback it replaced. That said, I cracked my charge pipe on stage 1 running 93. I've been using the stock map since then since I haven't made the time to get the CP replaced. I'd suggest getting the CP replaced. While you're in there you might as well get the intercooler and DP replaced. Now you see why I haven't done it yet lol. Bought a new house this year, so my focus has been on getting it straight. I'll do the mods to the car next year when the warranty runs out. Current mods are an intake and exhaust. I believe those help as well.....at least the exhaust a bit. Intake is just for noise imo. Sweet sweet noise.

I believe they are both relatively similar. BM3 customer support is quick and supportive, also provide a transmission flash. MHD has a coolant flash and not sure about their customer support.
In the end tho, BM3 is the first F series off the shelf tuner. Provides the quickest tunes. Has the fastest flash times. I reflash my car in under 30 seconds. Also they are developing the coolant flash and are constantly updating their platform for more speed, reliability, and features. I am a fan haha. But pls get a downpipe, chargepipe, and intercooler. doubles you spending but also more than doubles your power |

On my M235i I do not like the roll so I need to work on the suspension as well if I'm gonna get this car set up right. Just more money I suppose...death, taxes, bmw tunes! Certainty for sure!! |
