Powder Coated M235i Stock Wheels

I haven't seen much information floating around about painting or powder coating the stock M235i wheels. I knew that having a set of gloss black wheels would really tie my look together but I wasn't sure I was prepared to throw $3,000 at the project (this includes new tires, which I needed anyways). Armed with 1 picture from a forum member on here, I decided to get the done by a guy in Houston who has done applause-worthy wheel repairs for me historically for about $100. I am thrilled with the result and wanted to share. $600 for powder coating and mount/balance of tires (which was rolled into the price because it had to be done regardless of new tires or not).

Wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. (also very happy with, first time having something other than Super Sports for the last 5-ish years).

Apologies for the collage-style pictures. The post kept trying to rotate all the single pictures and this was the last-resort.

i keep forgetting to get this done. not a bad price either, if you shop around its typically 100-150 per wheel.

I considered shopping the quote around but, to be honest, the work that I've seen from this guy on my previous cars made me want to let him have my business on this one. In my experience, peace of mind is always worth the extra $$.
