M240i vert lease deals

What kind of lease deals are people able to get on the M240i convertible?

Looking at getting one for my wife. Also, is it worth ordering a 2019 now, or trying to get a better deal on a 2018 currently sitting on a lot?

Wondering what changes are being made from MY2018 to MY2019.

From what I've seen on Edmunds, it seems like the residuals are terrible on the 2-series...wondering if that's still the case.

Let me preface by saying I own as opposed to lease. That said, I'd think you can do better on a 2018 on a dealership lot, provided you find the color and options you like, both from the standpoint of discount on overall cost and leasing terms. My understanding is BMW offers better leasing deals (residuals) on the 2018's as incentive to move them off lots than on a 2019 being ordered. There should be virtually no difference between the 2018 (LCI year) and 2019 MY from a feature and price standpoint.
