I was wondering if doing a muffler delete will void the dealers guaranty. Does anyone knows anything about it?

No it will not void the warranty on the car itself.

It is a common misconception that aftermarket parts void the warranty of a car. The parts only void the warranty of what they replaced.

Here are a few examples to explain.

Scenario 1: Later that year get a hole in the exhaust from rust. BMW will most likely not replace it.

Scenario 2: Your catalytic converter goes bad. While not directly related to the muffler and BMW most likely will still replace it, they could reject it because you modified the exhaust. Again, unlikely they would reject it, but it is still possible.

Scenario 3: Your radio stops working. BMW will replace this 100% because there is no way the exhaust could affect the operation of the radio.
