Date Off
I've had my new M240i for just about 10 weeks. Four times now I gotten in the car and noticed the date was incorrect. I keep resetting it to the correct date, but obviously something keeps happening. No other problems with the car. Calling the dealer for a service appointment tommorrow, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Loose battery terminal clamp? Just a guess. Couldn't hurt to lift up the rear trunk floor and give the terminal cables a quick shake. I've seen more than a handful of electrical gremlins over the years that ended up being a loose battery cable. Might be a good place to start. Good luck and let us know what you find!

If there is a problem with your TCB unit and you have the automatic time setting selected on the idrive this also causes such things to happen. Do you have BMW Online option, if so do you use automatic time setting?
