Again, you can't compare numbers from different dynos.. and most times not even the same dyno, unless other conditions such as the weather are the same. Based on some posts I've read, BMW does follow a DIN standard for measuring power. And unless DIN allows for a company to under/over rate their power by some large margin of error, I highly doubt this European dyno used was much off.

Not sure of the confusion here. The factory rates the engine at the crank at 240hp. When I dyno'd my car, its output (bone stock in 100 degree heat) was 228-230 in 3 baseline runs. Are you/we to believe that the cars are so efficient that the drive train parasitic loss is only 9.5%? I truly do not think so........

You can't compare your numbers against their numbers... unless you used the same model dyno, under the same conditions, using the same testing method. For example... I was watching a Dinan video about how they test. In the background, they had a car on a dyno. This dyno didn't use rollers. The rear wheels were taken off and dyno was bolted to the axle hubs. Was your dyno runs done this way, or was it on rollers? No matter how much you want to believe your numbers, those numbers can be higher or lower depending on the dyno brand/model, conditions, and testing procedures. So unless you're sure you numbers were gotten the same way BMW got their power numbers, your numbers can't be used for comparison against theirs.

My mods,
Downpipe, CP, FMIC, Intake, Dv+, stage 2 lpfp, NGK laser iridium .018 gap. Bootmod3 40% ethanol tune. Going big turbo and upgraded rods and pistons in a few months. Pulling the trigger on the cp Carrillo set. You can make a lot of power from these things if tuned right and close monitoring of temps and afr. After the internals big turbo and meth injection with different fuel system and injectors because I don't think our injectors can handle anything over 400wheel. I should be close to 500wheel

I would say move the camera to the passenger side windshield instead of the passenger side door window. A secondary camera would be good too. Our friends at TheSmokingTire aren't going away. Matt is just moving around to a whole lot more as far as what he does. Where did you get that idea?

As others have commented, camera placement in your video needs a lot of work and you have to try and avoid verbal placeholders like "you know".

@Pillz17 if you go to the Dinan website you can find authorized installers and dealers straight from the source with their contact information as well.

FYI, I have a 2016 228i M-Sport convertible with the N26 SULEV engine. My wife and I have driven this car on long trips (300+ miles) including up and down mountainous terrain (~5000+ ft.) with no "heat soak" issues. A larger intercooler for this engine would be a waste of money, as it won't buy you anything unless you're going to do a lot of track days, and even then it would be of marginal help.
