Wireless Charging Retrofit?
Is there a retrofit for wireless charging? I'm surprised that's a factor option rather than a dealer installed accessory like the snap-in charger.

I have the wireless charging for my new 18' m240i and I highly regret it. My current phone which is a normal size phone does not fit the craddle, making it unusable for me till I get a different phone.
The whole unit also take up a lot of space in the center console storage. I wish there was a way to remove the unit. Storing your phone in a secure closure is also not convenient. I wouldn't recommend it. |

STF there are threads on this, I know because I have done a wireless charging retrofit with a charging mat under the storage tray in the armrest. $10 and works flawlessly. I don't use it on a daily basis as I have a Proclip on the dash but when GF is in car it's nice to have a charging spot for second phone.
