Maryland Auto Show Fail!
My first ever since moving to Baltimore, and I'm so disappointed in this event. I was at least hoping to see the M2 in person, but BMW didn't even have it on display. The turnout at Hunt Valley is way better than this.

It's a troubled venue
Cars open to public get a going over by people looking to abscond with any small thing they can. Road & Track puts their name on anything, kind of sketchy. Hunt Valley has some nice rare species and the owners are knowledgable and very cool - do you drive a car up there and park in the coral ? 5000 years of the human civilization and Baltimore delivers this http://jalopnik.com/bar-fight-ends-i...-on-1757515099. Aleppo is a higher functioning entity then Baltimore. Last edited by overcoil; 02-06-2016 at 04:25 PM.. |

Baltimore to me is like Somalia. There's no reason to go.

DC and Baltimore car shows are run by the local dealers, so its just a place to look at all the new cars for sale.
I just got back from NYIAS which is easily the best car show on the East Coast and probably #2 behind Detroit. NAIAS runs all the big shows across America and have all the concepts, pre-production models, exotic manufacturer, fun exhibits, etc. I go to NYIAS every year and it never disappoints. Even though McLaren wasn't there this year, its cool to see Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Rolls Royce and all the new stuff (Ford GT, facelift GTR, NSX GT3). BMW had an M1 on display and the new M4 GTS, M2, M760ix, Alpine B7, etc
