Paintless Dent Removal
Hey all,
Got my first door ding. Anyone recommend a place in or near Baltimore that does paintless dent removal? Was thinking of checking out Shaw's Collision Craft. Thanks! |

I had good results up at Dent Doctors in Bel Air.
http://dentdoctormd.com They took care of a door ding on the passenger door and another small spot on the rear quarter panel. They are also reasonable on price too. -Justin

My car is not even a month old and some old lady dinged my pass side quarter panel right in the center high on the flame surfaced area. It's lower than where the door handle is but is on the first inche of the rear quarter panel. I have a convertible with double walled reinforcement beams down in there. Not sure what do to. No drilling though. Glue pulling? Tail light/door panel removal?
I'm no expert. I've just dealt with PDR guys and enjoyed they're great service in the past..but one it comes to rear quarter panels...on a convertible (the guy I use) won't touch it. Gotta figure this out..1,500 miles on my car. Not a lease. Location: Northeastern PA

rather than start a new thread, i thought i'd revive this one for a PDR guy near annapolis. any updates to those provided back in 2016?
what sort of prices are you paying for a 1-2" long ding with no paint touch-up needed?

Good idea about PDR. Actually Traditional auto body repair is a costlier method of repairing cars because it requires sanding, bonding, and painting of the repaired areas. It is, perhaps, better suited for significant repairs where paintless dent removal is not an option.
A traditional body repair and repaint costs an average of $3,000 and a few days at the body shop. A $750 PDR, on the other hand, provides durable and impressive results, with same-day repairs, and perfect blending with other panels; all without any records on Carfax.
