The other option is to run a 9.5 ET50 rear with a 255 tire. We currently have those in production and they should be arriving towards the very end of April or early May. I am taking preorders for those right now, if you are interested!

Yes it is possible, but we don't offer anything in an 18x8.5 ET40. Only the 19x8.5 ET40 V703 (VB3). You could always run an ET45 with a 5mm spacer. Just know that it will be pretty close to the suspension in the front.

Nothing other than the V703 (VB3). You could always run an ET45 with a 5mm spacer though!

I was thinking about 19" but this is the setup I want, just in black. That looks nice. I just bought my car from the lot, and the dealer had it configured with 225's all season tires all around.

Well, I got the v710's. I got them off Amazon so I could use my Amazon card and get benefits from that. This thread has been very helpful. I got the same size and set up that starvmarv has, except mine are black (F) 8.5 ET35 (R) 9.5 ET45. Stock suspension and MPSS (F) 225 18 (R) 245 18.
These wheels are a lot more aggressive looking in person, and I really like them. Now all I need is to decide if I want to get some Dinan springs. |

Very nice! I too am wanting Dinan Springs, but I already scrape with my M Performance Carbon Fiber on some driveways and shopping centers. I'm still driving around town, if that's all I scrape on then I'll pull the trigger on Dinan. I HATE wheel gap!

Yeah, I have to be careful with the Dinan springs also. I have a front lip that came on the car. I haven't scraped anywhere yet, and my house is on a hill. When I had my E36 M3 It scrapped a little coming into my driveway, but it sat lower than the Dinan springs will make my M235i sit.

If you are looking for an 18x8.5 ET40, I would recommend an 18x8.5 ET45 with a 5mm spacer. The VB3 is the only wheel that is offered in the ET40.

My son ordered his VMR 710's in black today. Now just waiting for his M235 Alpine White with Corel Red interior to arrive. Going to use the stock tires on the VMRs. Turning stock rims into a winter setup. I'll deal with winter tires later.
