Entitlement much? Nobody ever said that a car company HAD to build a car you like. They build cars for what they think will be successful in the market they are targeting. If you don't like it, you vote with the wallet and buy something else.

I'm writing this for your sake, OP: - Your writing isn't horrible, but your punctuation is. Please buy this book; it will help. - The potential comprehension level of your letter is practically zero. Way too many thoughts. Way too much lingo. No one at Lexus gives a damn about 90 percent of it. Filter yourself. - None of it would matter anyway: One swear word automatically deletes any sane thought you might have made in that missive from the mind of the reader -- particularly on the corporate level. - Writing like this keeps people like me employed. So, thank you for that. But honestly, if you write like this on a daily basis, your list of employers will be rather short anyway. Good luck with that. And good luck with your next car purchase. IMBAO (In My Bad-Ass Opinion), it shouldn't be a BMW just so I can look at vulgar, self-important drivel like this on our forum a little less.

If you intend to troll a forum, your approach was great. Rants with just enough obscenity to show how "truly mad" you are really work well on forums.
But in a business, consider how you would conduct yourself in real life. Would you walk into a dealership, say "congratulations, you're better at this greed bullshit" and expect to get a positive response in any shape or form? "Oh gosh sir, we can't believe we've offended you. Of course, since you are a buyer of the cheapest vehicle in our entire corporate lineup you must be entitled to a great deal of opinion, since you are in fact our target demographic and represent a large portion of our bottom line". Or do you think they would tell you to get out and promptly talk about what an idiot you are? As someone who is also in product development, we work very hard to get feedback from valuable customers and consider it quite carefully. I am sure BMW has an entire presentation deck on their "enthusiast" demographic along with every possible statistic (household income, disposable income, average number of children, average number of vacations, college degrees, etc) and would welcome feedback. But what you wrote is just a rant that belongs shortened to 160 characters on Twitter. "Yo BMW you suck I'm buying a BRZ #nasioc #subaru #yolo"

OP my mentor gave me a tip...Write an email, print it, let it sit for 15 minutes and THEN go back and read it before hitting send.
This is one of the best tips I've ever been given. The first thing the process does is it allows you to catch the multiple errors we ALL have in our emails (even if its just a fat finger). The second is that it lets you cool down and gain some perspective so you dont send "hot" and or emotional emails. Im not slamming you by any means but I did want to pass along a very helpful tip thats paid dividends in my career. |

So you want more features a la carte? Having more variations implies more cost and complexity. You seem to assume that there are no downsides for buyers. Most cars today are much better than they were in the past. Of course there are exceptions. BMW, Lexus, and Audi make some of the best, and the F22 is arguably the best BMW since the E46. Consider flaming Fiat or Takata. Your rant won't matter there either but at least they deserve to be criticized. |

I think you will receive zero response. I stopped reading after about 26 seconds so my assumption is whoever receives this at BMW Audi Lexus etc will stop after about 9 seconds....
I think you need to seriously re-evaluate your free time. |
