this is cool and all, but I'm trying to really figure why you didn't wait for m2?
Yeah I get it that its modded and all that stuff to what you wanted, what did you pay for this compared to 51k price of m2 here in the states? |

I actually prefer the front fascia of this over the new M2.
I'm sure a lot of others would concur as well.

Not between you scooping up this BMW-tuned gem and the "CA-guy Xdrive Track Edition" that he's putting together with his own tuning plan.......got me thinking. Might have put an M2 on a back burner and either order early for a limited edition or devise my own RennTECH tuning plan. Yes, did you know that RennTECH tunes more than just Mercedes vehicles, thought it's their specialty............being a company founded by the former AMG of N.A. technical boss(Harmut Feyhl). So, while the link below is for the 1-series, you can bet they're developing ECU, exhaust, driveline, and air intake upgrades for the 2. http://www.renntechmercedes.com/inde...ut-us/about-us http://www.renntechmercedes.com/inde...s/bmw/1-series Last, but not least, thank you (both) for the inspiration. |

The track package looks great.
Just wondering to the op, do you get to keep the 18" wheels and original steering wheels after the M-Performance parts arrived and installed?? I am debating whether to pull the trigger to get the remaining M235i Track Edition at the local dealer or go for a 2016 but with minimum options which is what I am more leaning toward but the Track Edition simply looks stunning. |

I'm pretty much going to wind up with what you have here. Moonroof delete, manual, did add the Cold Package, and Port install LSD. Would have omitted the power seats, but for 2016 the old Premium Package is standard, which includes the power seats. The dimming mirrors will be nice, as will the garage door opener and Siris. I've gotten the M Performance lower decal and intend on adding the carbon front spoiler and rear spoiler. Body color for the grill and haven't made up my mind on the interior carbon/alcantara pieces. Oh yes, the m235i will be MIneral Grey. We'll see.

Hemisedan...Good choice, I went with Xdrive for more grip and a bit faster car too. However, will be adding Dinan S3 or S4 tunes to the car very soon which will bump power to about 400+. S3 tune will be upgraded intercooler and S4 tune is upgraded turbo. Also, going to install Dinan Spring kit and ride & handling package to lower the car. My car has all M Performance parts except for exhaust and no LSD.
