Now you just have to find the Autotrans torque limit so I can buy all this stuff off you guys! I'd be down to go to stage 3 with pure turbo. Assuming internal upgrades and AT torque limit flash... |

Just got my stage 1 done. Wow! It's like a whole new car.
Have to meet the girlfriend at Disneyland so it was a quick 2 mile test. (GSR is just down the street). I have the M235i MPE and I can't hear it over the turbo. Reminds me of the external wastegate I had on my previous car. I'll create a new thread with some vids soon. |

Just got my stage 2 w/e85 fuel flash done and ohhhh boy I have to say it feels great! It drives so smooth around town even in sport plus mode. The powerbound feels so much nicer and smoother when compared to the JB4. Haven't had a chance to drive the car more than 50 miles but I will be doing a writeup as soon as I get some free time.

sorry in advance for the newbie question, but how is it justifiable to have 2 different prices on such a tune ?
i mean, harware is similar it's just a software and i can't get my head around the 300$ premium for my m235i with that in mind... am i alone in the clouds... |

Got my Stage 1 flash done yesterday! Smooth as butter and tons of power!!! I only have about 60 miles with it but I'll be hitting the track next weekend and I'll post a more detailed review after that. Thanks again GSR Autosport

I believe GSRAutosport had a much "hotter" tune to begin with. Last edited by OpenAir; 10-15-2015 at 10:23 PM.. |

A dyno doesn't risk factory warranty, but an ECU Flash will throw it out the window! That is why many folks go with the piggyback solution hoping they can sneak it through, although in reality if the dealership looks at the logs, they will see the over-boost anyway!

The tune keeps boost mild enough that I don't have to worry about blowing out the internals while giving me the added "pull" of the 235. I have no idea what my 1/4 time would be and I really don't care, cab's are not track cars. Sorry if I misunderstood what you were after, just trying to help! |

Play it for a while and see how it likes your car. If your dealer is mod-friendly then you can seek out more fun. Do you lease or finance? You won't lose your warranty per-say with piggyback or flash, unless you have an issue (warranty related) and they can prove it was caused by such modification. If piggyback is not your style, choose your favorite tuner as OpenAir suggested
