Yes...some folks don't like the style. I am one that does. I dig the long front end. I like my 228i, its a great car and looks nice. I just have a longing for a roadster.

I had a 03 Z4 and loved it, aside from the extremely stiff suspension. As I was living in Texas at the time, the expansion joints on Texas highways just killed my back...so I went to a Boxster S. Nice car, but to be honest a little boring....it did everything really well...but lacked character. The highlight of the Boxster S was the fact it had 2 trunks...so lots of place for storage. Just recently I was going to go back to a Z4, tried both the 4 and 6 cylinder, and then took an M235i convertible out and was sold right away. The M235i was a little quickler, had more storage space and considerably less money. My seat goes right into the back seat area, so as far as i am concerned I have a 2 seater again that just happens to have 2 trunks. (back seat under the wind deflector for large items and a real trunk for security.
My 2 cents JP |

I had a 2007 Z4 3.0 si coupe I purchased new and sold it last year, then immediately purchased a M235i.
I loved the Z once I was seated in it, but entry/exit simply wrecked my lower back. It got to the point I didn't enjoy the car because I knew I would pay for driving it with 2-3 days of back pain. No such issues on the 235. The Z was great fun, but it's not a car for anyone with back problems. |
