I'm in Eagle Rock/SilverLake area. I suppose you need to school me on the brand of film. I assume it's the amount of thickness? Darkness? If that is it I prefer to stay street legal. Without a front license plate I don't want anymore reasons for cops to pull me over.
Attached a pic of the car. |

Tell Robert or Javier that the guy with the red M235i sent you lol. I'm probably the only one that requested ceramic film in just the front haha And OP, I recommend you go here as well. If you want to stay legal, get a 35% tint ceramic film (Llumar CTX) in the front and a 5% in the rear. This will provide enough contrast that will decrease your chances of getting pulled over, and the ceramic film will block a ton of heat without being too dark. Go to California Tint Shop, they're in Northridge. I posted their website a few posts above. Parthenia and Yolanda is the cross section.

Depends if you want high quality tint or cheap tints with decent quality work.
I had my cars done at both California Tint and G5 Tint. Spent $120 @ California Tint and $375 at G5 Tint. Quality and heat resistant is much better using the Llumar from G5. Color is also a lot better. California Tint's film gives off a little army green feel at 35%. But quality of work is great at both places! |

Highly recommend Spectra Photosync brand. I tinted my gf's MCS at extremeautowerks in Cerritos. If I didn't already have Huper Optik on my car, I would without a doubt get Photosync. Blocks out way more heat without having to get such a dark tint %.

Find a tint shop that uses Llumar tint. That will weed out a lot of bad ones as it is. Llumar is a top quality tint.
Sun Dimmers is who I use in Santa Clarita, but that's about 35 miles north of downtown LA. More convenient for folks in the valley or Valencia. |

That's perfect then because their shop is right off the 605/Alondra exit. Ask for Derek and tell him I sent ya, he'll get you squared away with good pricing.
