Was just having a discussion with a mate of mine re. Fuel consumption over the weekend. I've been getting 13.2L/100km in my M235 and have just clicked over 5000kms! Not sure if this is bad or not! My mate's A45 is getting around 12-12.5.
In my previous M coupe S54 I was getting 13.5-14. But that was 3.2L and old tech! Driving is 90% city. No highway. 15-20kms/day. Would be interested to hear what others are getting! |

This is my fuel consumption this involves a lot of city driving, peak hour traffic and some night driving (I work nights and the drive home is pretty cruisey with 10km highway driving) Wouldn't let me post pics... But it's between 11-13l

Hard to compare fuel comparison with varying personal and external factors. I'm 13+ with 50/50 city/suburbia driving in the 235. In my A45, I averaged 14+. Your mate isn't driving his hard enuff

Ha thanks for the replies guys... great sounds like mine's reasonable then... I just thought that it'd be way more efficient than my S54... Being 5+ years newer etc.
Forgot to add that I drive prob 50% sport and 50% comfort. Never Eco. Kinda feels a bit anaemic in comfort sometimes! |

I get 10.8L/100km on my 228i, 80% city driving.
About 400-450km for a full tank, even though when I fill it up to the brim it says I have an estimated 544kms |

And when I filled up once after a good enthusiastic drive, the estimated full tank was 424km but it adapted after I started cruising and not belting it every traffic light. |

I wonder what a 220 feels like in eco pro mode, actually I know since I've driven my f30 320i in eco pro. It feels like a 316i

even my Mrs' is not a fan of Eco mode
i rarely get over 11L / 100km, unless going for a mountain strap. during the week moderate city commute, weekends 50/50 highway. 70% comfort otherwise sport. i mustn't be doing it right

I do mostly city driving, i'm sitting around 12.5L/100km. ASS always turned off, mostly in comfort but also some spirited Sport mode when the traffic lightens up!

Fuel consumption was one of the first things I noticed since I traded up from my F30 328i. I do a lot of freeway driving at about 120kph on the M1 north (F3) to Newcastle. My M325i uses more fuel for the same trip, hovering about the 9 to 12 l/100k. Have 5000 klms clocked up now - but I'm not complaining, I'm still getting over the 'new toy" syndrome.

I've got 8,000km now and sitting on 10.7 average. Mainly city driving with some freeway commute and a couple of country trips to Wakefield Park. Use Comfort/Drive when cruising and sport+/Manual all other times.

I get 8.5L/100km on my 228i, 60% city driving.
About 500-550km for a full tank... 1.5 months old and 4.5K kms on it so far. I'm sure my fuel consumption will increase after the Enzo performance ECU flash tune and ER downpipe with HFC mod. |
