showing driving restraint
I'm sure we've had to do this at one time.
I have about ~300 mi on my m235. So far I'm staying within the break-in period guidelines. So I pull up to a red light next to an i3 in a busy downtown beach area. Looked over and dude looked like about a mid-30 year old hipster with money. I'm thinking... Dude pulls off hard at the light, he must of floored it. WTF: he thinks his i3 is faster. We meet up again a few lights later. I'm thinking...what's the 0-60 of the i3? Do I want to get blown away by an i3 on a busy street. He pulled off hard again. What a dick. I let him go. When I got home I checked the 0-60 of the i3. |

I actually had the i3 for a few days during the extended test drive promotion at the beginning of the year. It's surprisingly quick.
That being said, I could never let an i3 show me up lol. |

Electric cars have their torque available instantly. 0-60 may not be great, but off the line they can be very fast. Regardless, it's like picking a fight with a girl on the playground; you look like a d**k, win or lose.

The only current BMW that will NOT get schooled by the i3, is probably the i8....
from 0-30 mph that is. |

I did say win or lose; I'm not presuming anything.

I like the i3. I'm not suer if I'd purchase one but it looks funky and I appreciate it.

tbh I like the i3 and the design of it, especially the interior and the fancy CFRP. If its reliability is proven and the range gets better maybe a future model will replace the ol highlander. I'm a sucker for the fancy woods in the interior

Even if the thing made enough torque to outlaunch an M235, they would simply go up in a cloud of smoke. |
