aFe scorcher installed!
So i bought my aFe scorcher last friday and spent the weekend testing it out. Now, for anyone wondering, i know close to nothing about cars, but install was as easy as everyone has said it is. You unplug 2 cables and then replug them into the module and then you're good to go. Takes about 5 minutes total.
The aFe website states that the scorcher adds up to 53hp and 80lbs/ft of torque, but it's more around 40hp and 50lbs/ft, which is still good and puts the car around ~270hp and 300lbs/ft at the wheels (according to dynos i've seen). So all in all, it's a pretty nice upgrade for price tag, imo. Anyway! At first i wasn't sure if there was any real noticeable change. I kept thinking, "it feels faster, but it's probably all in my head." However, after a few days of driving it around, the module is definitely apparent. Daily driving is pretty much unchanged, which in my eyes, is a good thing. But recently i've trended towards driving like a loon around town and the added power and torque are a blast. You can definitely feel the car pull harder and quicker on accelerations. The power delivery is so fluid and natural that I almost have a hard time believing that the car has a tune. So after driving it around town and having some fun with the added quickness i decided to go out to the backroads around here and do a few launches. And holy moly was i surprised. The launch and acceleration was a hell of a lot more aggressive than it had been prior to the install. Now, i haven't tried the jb4, racechip, or any other similar products, but I can say that i'm pretty happy with the aFe so far. Since i'm leasing my car this offered pretty much everything i wanted in a non-intrusive package. So in the end, i'm pleased with the aFe and give it my thumbs up! edit: link to the model i bought: http://afepower.com/shop/details_new...ly&brandID=122 link to aFe's dyno results: http://afepower.com/catalog/77-46303...46303H1600.jpg

@recycledAlva , good mod.
I suggest you to upgrade the chargepipe, with a higher boost the stock pipe will become more prone to breaking.

Glad you are happy with the tune
Instead of buying it direct from AFE, you should have checked the vendor section for deals
