Feedback requested - M235i Deal
All, I currently have the following offer from a dealer on a black sapphire M235i with premium, cold weather, drivers assist pkg, tech pkg, and the HK sound system. I believe there is a mark-up on the acquisition fee. Any feedback/suggestions are appreciated.

Your acquisition fee is marked up $200 standard is 795 but some dealers mark it up $200 and say it's normal.
Also Iv bought two bmws in the past 6 months never paid a doc fee Also I think u can Atleast get an additional 1k off selling price, just say you were shopping around and another dealer quoted you $550 and they will most likely match it and would be still above invoice price. The selling price is $725 over invoice, so I don't think there is that much more room to move. I will discuss the acquisition fee and document fees to see if they're willing to come down on them. I also like the idea of sending my build out to a few other local dealers to see what types of deals they are willing to make and use that for leverage.
Thanks for the advice. |

On the other hand, $1200 over invoice for custom build is not a bad deal. |

Just wanted to provide an update for anyone currently negotiating a deal on an M235i. After getting an offer from a competing dealer, I was able to get my original offer down to a selling price of $48,200 (from $48,525) and had the acquisition fee reduced to $895 (from $995). I know that the acq fee is still marked up $100, but I feel pretty good about the deal overall. This dropped my payments down to $570 a month.
Thanks for the advice M3Teg. |

Just join Costco for $50, got my M235i for $500 over invoice; no back and forth, just showed up to dealer and that was price. Haven't seen too many doing much better than that and many seem to do a lot worse. Truecar was about $1k more than Costco price. Not sure if same for all states, but worked in Illinois for me.
