It's funny how the purpose of this thread was to ask a question about the diffuser but ended up being the best post of the year. I'm sure the dealership is going to be surprised with the large amount of orders.

Mineral grey here....
Thinking of front lip, rear diffuser in black but question about exhaust. If i get the exhaust will the cut outs be larger? If i get the exhaust do i need to purchase their chrome tips to go with or can i use my black ones? Does the exhaust come with tips? I see different options on "getbmwparts" site where I was shopping previously so kind of unclear what i need to get. The drop down on Leith shows that the chrome finishers are required? I really don't want chrome tips but could live wit them if needed. I thought if you get the exhaust with the diffuser it comes with larger exit dia pipes and you must use the "M" tips. Any help is appreciated Oh and the code seems to still be registering this morning but I have not processed my order yet till I know more about the exhaust tips. And it looks like you have to pay to ship the stuff. But I am in NC so have to pay $81 tax. The really screwed part is they are banging me $85 to ship. Still a discount but damn Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 11-29-2014 at 10:28 AM.. |

I can't thank whoever started this thread enough!!! Just threw my winter tires on the standard M235i wheels with the intention of making that my winter set. Just purchased the summer M performance 405 M wheel package I was looking at for 2,000!!!!, sticker 4100 and Brian had quoted me 3400. Comes with the wheels, tires, and tpms.

You need an extension for the stock tips to sit flush with the mp diffuser, but they'll work.

Seriously, what a deal, thanks OP. Got front lip, rear diffuser, pedals, electronic steering wheel.
BTW, anyone know if there is a difference between A/T & M/T for the electronic steering wheel? Because the picture of it shows paddle shifters attached to the wheel. Called the dealership, they are processing 200+ orders, lol. |

Went back in last night and added the black grilles for another order for just $75 (free shipping). Roundel valve stem caps were just nine bucks, so tossed that in for grins. I'd like to do the diffuser, but I have to get past buying and painting a whole new MSport rear fascia first, so not sure that's worth it at this point. I wish there was some other shift knob other than CF/Alcantara at these prices, neither of which I want inside! I see BMW makes a shorter weighted one in aluminum and leather but only for 1 Series. Darn!

At this price and quality of fit of an OE BMW part, why not paint the CF? I just ordered that spoiler and it will head for the paint booth on arrival to become VO! A good aftermarket ABS plastic spoiler won't save much if anything over this sale price, and you won't know fit until it arrives from China!

I ordered performance exhaust for F30 N20 to fit my 228i and diffuser and shipping was only $5 to Texas.
I'm not sure why others are being charged higher. I went back and made two more orders. One of them is the performance manual shift knob. I'm not too crazy about the Alcantara/carbon look of it but I really want something that make shifting easier/faster. Worst case is to sell it later or use their 30-day return policy. I also plan on leaving diffuser black because I like the look better as it looks more balanced and does not make the back look too heavy and tall. |

I'll be honest. I expected to wake up this morning and hear that it was a mistake, orders would be canceled. The fact that someone talked to the dealer and they know full well what is going on is awesome. I wonder if they have a parts volume/number to hit for the year?
