Still no update on mine, but the possibility that it could arrive any day now is killing me. Tomorrow will be 7 days since it was scheduled to arrive at the port.
Anyone know what the typical dealer's protocol is for notifying you about your car's arrival? Should I expect a call with a buffer period of a day or two? Or are they more likely to get it in and prep it then surprise the hell out of me with a "come get it"? |

I should have posted here more often while I waited. Seems like I get good news every time I do.
SHE ARRIVED AT THE DEALER TODAY!!! Just in time for me.... to need to leave town for the night and most of tomorrow. It's either a mad dash through a 2 hour drive including rush hour at the end of the day tomorrow, or I will have to wait till Thursday to take the car home. Either way, I'll have it in the next 40 hours or so! |

My car is officially in NY right now at the port, probably getting off the boat now or early tomorrow. It's at least here in the tristate area.
Now I have to just wait for it to go through customs and get the phone call to come and pick it up, I see a lot of ships are at the same port so hopefully there is a truck there right away to pick up the cars and drop them off. I want my car now so I am hoping I am lucky with a fast trip through customs and it's ready to be picked up fast and soon. |

My car was scheduled to arrive at the port on 9/30. The problem with extrapolating from my experience to yours is that I do not have confirmation that my car hit the port when it was supposed to, nor do I have confirmation of what port it came from. I can tell you its final destination was Ohio, so for what it's worth, the car had to travel pretty far from any port and still presumably made the trek in 7 days. I think you will have your car very soon.

My car arrives at the dealer Monday and I'll be able to pink it up a few days later. By this time next week I'll be too busy driving it to post

That's where I've been. 275 miles since Wednesday night. Was planning on posting pics, first impressions, etc. Those plans went out the window the moment I started the car up. You are in for a treat.

I am already planning a road trip upstate (apple picking actually) with the new car to kinda break her in and see how she does. Plus I want to be able to drive up there away from so many cars and traffic. I already know I am going to be sitting in that car for hours once she comes home just playing with everything and trying out everything in the car. |

Car should have been delivered to the dealer today, tried to call but my CA was off today and I couldn't really get a an answer from anyone. When I called BMWNA they said first that it was still at the port but was going to be delivered today and then when I called back they said it was going to be delivered but they don't have any updated information yet.
I liked it better when I was able to actually keep track of it on the internet last week. I will try and call my CA tomorrow to see if it arrived and I still have a few more days to wait once it is there. It seems my estimating driving date keeps getting pushed back each day. I just want my car already. |

Car is at the dealership as of yesterday. Haven't heard from my CA yet but that's ok.
My windows are gonna be tinted and then I will be able to pick to it up. He told me that he would need a few days once it arrives to do everything and yesterday was his day off so I am sure today and tomorrow they will be busy hooking it up for me and hopefully Friday or Saturday I get to go get her. They are closed Sundays so I'm hoping it's Friday or Saturday or else that puts me into next week. |
