Three things I've noticed about this video.
First the M235i has so much more torque than the M3 which was very evident. Second the M3 is so much better planted on the road but also shows the M225i has real potential with some suspension mods. Third the M2 is going to blow away the E92 M3 on the track and the straight. Nice find!

I know they have open track days there, but what's with all the bikes? It's like they're on a leisurely ride to get coffee.
Also is it common to see that many cars wiped out or crashed on a typical day? |

I like those track videos (especially at the Ring). I also don't get why the bikes are so slow on the track (even on straights)
And yeah, the suspension on the M235i seems way too bouncy...almost as if there were 2 big dudes in the back seat. I know, I know, they wouldn't fit |

I didn't gather in the video the 235 out accelerating the 3 w/torque.
Surprisingly to me the suspensions seemed pretty equal in stiffness. They were both good drivers and I thought it was only under braking when the 3 was being careful to not ride up on the 235 that it gave the appearance of pulling away - but I may be completely wrong. |

It looked like the 235 was better out off corners and M3 better under braking. Pity we don't know if the M235 had an LSD. Because it looked like the M3 had the back out a lot. where as the M235 was planted.

cool vid. not sure you can draw any conclusions about relative performance - too much depends on driver, mods, effort, etc. - but the 235 looks pretty good on the track!

Could also be that they were track buddies and the M3 is just cruising behind his friend (m235i)

That being said, all things being equal the M235i looks great on the track comparing to the M3

I feel exactly that, which is my biggest problem with this car. My last car was an A45 Ed1 which is much more stiff and uncomfortable over bumpy urban roads but it corners better.

That's actually in the owner's manual. I'm not sure if it is standard on all 2 series, or part of some package, but under heavy braking the brake lights flash for safety. I haven't tried it yet with my 228i, but I will eventually.
