Anybody going to attempt to disable Active Sound?
I have read that on some other BMW models, people have been able to disable the active sound through either coding or a hardware bypass. Anybody planning to try to disable theirs? I have never heard ASD so I have no idea if it's good or bad.
Here's a post with info for coding that has worked on several different newer bmw's (no idea if it's the same for the 2's): http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...56&postcount=5 |

I tried looking it up but was not able to find the function module listed in the M5 board ! Looks like it does not exist under the same name or it totally doesn't exist in the M235

I have not tried this yet on a 2er ... I coded an M235 last week, but the owner never asked, and I never looked to see where it could be.
If anyone is interested in remote coding, please let me know ... once connected I will be able to see if it is possible ... I just don't have access to a 2er to poke around in ESYS otherwise. |
