Hopefully BMW finally fixes the system so no one else has to deal with this hassle ever again.

So if anyone has an issues with this in the future, get your dealer to contact corporate, and it should (fingers crossed) get fixed, at least until the glitch is removed.
i placed my order April 21st - they started building yesterday.

Stick to internet sales people. Dunno why you guys go in and expect a floor man who sells four cars a month to not try to line his pockets on every deal. This is their livelihood.

I did my deal via the internet. My sales guy quoted me about 4K off MSRP for my build. I then went in to finalize it and put the deposit down. I think at that point he realized the deal was quite good. So now, by telling me he "anticipated the 1K incentive" he is trying to recoup some of the losses due to his original quote. Unfortunately for me, it's still a better price than I can probably get anywhere else, and I don't necessarily mind the wait since I just put on new tires on my current car a few months ago and want to wear them out a bit before selling it

That is really BS you should have gotten an order sheet with the price break down though... that way any incentive is on top of your negotiated price

when did he give you that quote?

I have a printed out spec sheet that shows MSRP, and he handwrote my quote on that sheet. (I also have his quoted price in emails, which have the link to my config showing MSRP). He gave me that quote at the end of March when I initially inquired.

Tell them that you're about to follow these instructions:

http://www.ehow.com/how_7595924_make...complaint.html

And that you'll be sure to include all your documentation... which you should immediately assemble and organize.

I too have come across this issue. I placed my order most recently and after coming to an agreement I asked about the $1000 option credit and they advised it was included in the discount given. Could that be correct? Because I may try to bring it back up upon delivery.

My order sheet says discount 2536 which would bring the price town to around the invoice price of the car.

Must have been the sales person who told you that... Even the base car has an invoice price about 3500 lower than the msrp. With a lot of options, it is more like 4000 difference on the M235i.

I would refuse to do business with someone who played games. And not all Internet Sales people are true ISMs. Most work the floor too and operate just like any other sales person. A true ISM can sell enough cars in a month that they can afford making less on a car sale.

its only beneficial to people who bought before May because now they'll just offset it. doubt you'll get the full $1000 off now, but couldn't hurt to haggle down some more.

well you should have asked what that 2536 discount is from....

If it's something you negotiated, then the $1000 should be on top of that, cause the $1000 is an incentive from bmwusa that has nothing to do with the original price you negotiated...

if you didn't ask, then now they can screw you and tell you it's already included and they make an extra $1000

Spoke to a CA today who suggested that the May incentive may not be applicable for a car ordered in May. . . The scenario, the story goes, is that MY 2015 production begins in June, so that a car ordered in May might end up being a MY 2015 and would thus not be eligible for the May incentive, which is reserved for MY 2014 cars.

True?

True?
MY2015 starts in July. I have not heard one way or another if MY2015 vehicles apply (those which are already in production... not the 2 series), I would assume it would. Either way, if you order today for a vehicle/allocation that has a build week in the month of May or June, it should apply without issue.
