M Performance side skirts
Just saw this M235i at my local dealership. I haven't seen an M Performance side skirt before. My M235i has plain blue side skirts.
I thought I would share this interesting picture. |

For some reason it would only let me upload one picture. So here is a close up of the side skirt.

Just looks like a big decal was added to me. I couldn't see any change from the stock shape. Maybe some one else knows the difference?

I dunno how this extra lip looks, but the black sticker isn't appealing to me... waste of $ in IMHO. Now if u can get body colour and the lip does it for u, well go for it I guess.

Lip isn't too evident in pictures. Can't imagine it adds much to the look of the car. I like sideskirts that flow into the rear of the vehicle, usually from a custom rear bumper. This doesn't break that flow, but still... I can find a better use of my $600 or whatever this costs.

OP, thanks for posting the pics!
I'm glad I didn't check that box on the order form now. Even painted body color I don't think the side skirts would have "added" a whole lot to the look of the car. Just my opinion though. |

I got a set about 6 months ago. I think the problem is that they come primed grey instead of the matte black finish on the rest of the MP body kit. Had to have mine sprayed, went with matte black on my EBII 235.

Sorry to revive a old post, but does anyone have any more pics of these installed, in their vehicles?
I find the side skirts on the 2 series a little boring and I was debating getting these, but hard to find some real world photos of it from a few different angles. Thanks in advance |
