Not keen on those wheels but happy people are starting to fit new wheels.
And yes, as the 2 has 3 series running gear effectively but in a smaller package the offsets suck! No concave to be had here! |

Looks great, I'm definitely planning on changing my wheels when I get mine.
What are the offsets you have then? I'm new to changing wheels so wasn't sure on what everything means, but I was quoted the same offsets as the M135i is I wanted wider rear tyres. |

They are 18s.
Those are 18x8 +45. We tried a number of other wider combinations that would fit the 135i (don't know how it compares to the M135i though), but they would not fit on this car even on the rear (either the wheel would be too close to /touching the shock itself or it would rub on the fender edge or both). |

I'd like wider rears and 19s. I have been quoted by a company in the UK that I need to buy wheels with an diameter of 8x19 on the front and a range of diameters on the rear - 9x19, 9.5x19 or 10x19. The offsets are ET40 on the front and ET44/35/25 on the rear. I'm really not sure what is suitable. The wheels I'm looking at at BBS CH-Rs. Are all wheels different in offsets and requirements? |

German forum "1er forum" via google translate is a good source of info for wheels, offsets and what works/doesn't work.

Love the pics! The V705s look great.
Thanks for stopping by and giving us a chance to see the car in person for test fitment purposes.
