If the rear showed as much tire wall as the front, it wouldn't be so bad. As it is, it looks like there's a 400 lb. passenger riding in the back seat.

Great way to put it - this is too low for my tastes, but to each their own...

I guess I don't know that much about cars... I see that the car is lower relative to the tires, but it looks to me that relative to the ground, it's the same height as stock. Am I wrong?

I'm not a traditionalist by any means (definitely plan on dropping my car to a more aggressive stance), but I think when the rear fender starts to engulf the sidewall of the tire, it ends up looking like either the drop or the rim choice wasn't well planned. Ever seen a dropped car with a widebody kit on stock-width rims? While I like a smaller fender gap, I prefer the wheel's outside edge to line up tightly with the fender edge.
That said, I'm really happy someone's already out there modifying the M235i. Need more people to jump on that boat and start driving down what I'm sure will be an initial price inflation for modifications. |

If it sits lower than a race car, it's not functional, it's not frush, it's just stupid

Wow a lot of hate from everyone with no facts about what's going on here. Maybe he's toying around with his coilovers, just trying to find what the best compromise of low and ride quality is, or who knows, maybe he's on air suspension. Could be a lot of things. But agreed, if it's springs, it wouldn't be my first choice of spring/wheel combo.

Its all personal taste when it comes to modding a car. The fact that the owner got a new car and started modding right away shows his love for cars...at least he's got bbs that isnt cheap
