Its ugly enough that you'd hope it might be functional inside. This is front wheel drive right? Why would they need that giant hump on the floor in the middle in the back seat area? Rendering the back seat fairly useless for a third passenger.
And why would you pay BMW prices for this when you could get any number of cheaper, high quality, "active lifestyle" vehicles? Not like this thing exudes that BMW prestige that might persuade someone to overpay for a vehicle. |

That's really ugly. How well did the 5GT sell to have BMW make 3 and 2 series variants?

While it's not for me, I do think the interior is very nice considering the 2 series monicker. It is worlds ahead of the loaner X1 which I recently drove. In fact, if I had to make the choice between this or an X1, I would choose the ActiveTourer.
I also like the fact that it has a manual transmission. Cool little family vehicle. |

Not my cup of tea. Interior is pretty nice though.

I still don't like the front. It's just like the whole front bumper is pulled down, if you know what I mean. The rear of the car is nice, though. I also like the interior, with the 'floating' upper part. The interior is also different from the standard BMW interior, which you can find in almost every BMW nowadays.
