BSM with 135is (crappy pics, sorry)
saw one in person. I won't mention my opinions on here because I don't want to be attacked or seem like I'm attacking!
it's black sapphire. sorry about the poor pics it was getting dark. I've got my winter wheels on the 135is. |

That first set of shots presents a very distorted perspective on the car, it's clearly shot with a wide-angle lens (probably a phone camera - they all have relatively wide-angle lenses) so the proportions are all wrong. Same problem with that photo above albeit to a lesser degree. IRL the 235 looks very nicely proportioned.

just my opinion....i don't see the new car as a more 'aggressive' design in any way. to me it looks a lot rounder and softer around the edges and has a less polarizing array of details as well as a more accessible mainstream design. i think it will appeal to more people but will appeal less to those looking for more 'old school' BMW design.
when looked at together, the 1er looks more squat and bulldog-ish, while the 2er looks more modern and aerodynamic. it's a different set of principles at the core of the design. |

BTW my purpose of this post was not to discuss what you think of the 1er....it was just to post some pics. So no need to rag on my choice of car....unnecessary really. |
