That looks fantastic! Thanks OP. I couldn't be happier with my choice in car and color now. How is the headroom? I'm 6'6, do you think I will have any trouble?

M 235i questions..important for me and others..
Would appreciate some comment
Ordered the M235i..with almost all options finished production Feb 15th Question 1...Estimate date I should receive this in Southern California? Question 2...Concerned the Dealer will allow some 'test' driving by the Sales People...how can I prevent this? Question 3...What kind of miles already in service? should I see when I pick it up? I hope less then 10? Question 4.. Since the M235i..will be driven in dangerous areas I ordered Run Flat...what make of tire do you think BMW will place on the Vehicle...name and model of tire? Question 5...Since I plan to drive a lot...hurray .. when do you think the MPA add on will be available? I heard port labor is cheaper the dealer labor? Can my SA get me a good price? Question 6...Does the Muffler sound 'soup up' or should I consider the MPA add on Muffler? if its too loud don't want. Question 7...Any opinions on...adding...M Performance...carbon tail pipes? I ordered the Dark Gray with Coral Red Interior' Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler? .Accent Stripes? Diffusion insert for Rear Apron.. and Carbon Mirror Caps? Question 8..Thinking of leasing because there may be a M2..soon? Thanks for answering any of these questions .. |

At least in the US order guide, 6WA only shows up under the "tech"package. Note that the good thing is that we don't lose any functionality per say. The standard display still shows all the things you need, but the 6WA does it better. I think the only additional things the 6WA shows is navigation, and the M235i logo. Standard Display: 6WA:

All I can say is THANK YOU for taking the time to post great pics and videos of M235i in MG! I've put an order in for MW and have a few weeks to decide between MG (on Terra) or MW (on Terra). Any chance u could post pics and video of MW (I know, long shot). Thx for clarifying that the MG doesn't have a pinish/purplish hue in sunlight (like sparkling graphite did). Otherwise these colours seem similar? It appears that the standard 18s and ferric grey upper mirror caps (that aren't that good looking) seem to go OK w the MG? May upgrade to 19s at factory if possible, and may go w body colour on mirror caps if possible. One downside, is the rear diffuser doesn't standout much at all since very similar to the MG? Anyway, appreciate your thoughts/comments on all of the above issues, and in particular MG vs. MW. IMO Terra looks best w either colour. Regards, Greg |

I think I am OCD too, but any normal person would look at that and wonder what in the hell was going on (or not going on rather) in the lower right hand corner of the display...

+1 to the OP being an awesome dude for taking these.
It's funny, in these pics, the wheels look good to me. Especially size wise - they don't look small at all - especially in these two pics:

Thanks guys for all the appreciation... It was a lot of work but was fun sharing and giving back to the many who have done this before me.
I too would like to see a Mineral White that is one of my choices along with Silver. dmboone25: Dont worry too much about the instrument cluster. What you need is there for the most part. The lower portion on the tach shows only how well your doing conserving fuel. I will miss having coolant temp as in my E90. The 2 pic you choose are pretty spot on. The wheels were better than I expected size wise. The Michelin's are one tall tire though. If these were Bridgestone's you would have at least an extra finger of gap. Notice the 1 Series in the background of the second pic you posted.

Thank you so much for the pics and videos! I love the wheels more and more every time I see them. They do not look small to me.
I have a Mineral Gray 3-series…it is an awesome color! For those who are ordering their M235i in MG, you will not be disappointed. |

I just registered to thank the OP for his pics and commentary. I have an M235i in MG on order and appreciate the confirmation that I made the right decision. My only fear is that if more colors aren't publicized soon, every car on the road will be a carbon copy of mine!
Someone mentioned in an earlier post that he or she plans to order his car with body-colored side mirrors. Can you explain how that is possible? When I ordered my car, the dealer wasn't able to accommodate anything beyond what is described on the website. Of course, this was early in the sales cycle so he may not have had access to all the possible variations. (For the record . . . I like the side mirror color, especially with MG.) |

There should already be some ready to purchase online since the M135i mirrors are the same as the M235i

Thanks for the explanation . . . I'm new to this. Good to know I didn't miss the opportunity if it turns out I'm disappointed on delivery.

What a dope color! Looks great on this car, very sporty and somehow brutal. The wheels are great too, MG is the best color for them. But look at that black 228i also spotted in the video, such a classy and elegant look, so dope!

Thanks FunRevn for those great photos - I had been thinking MW was the way to go but your photos make MG look stunning, changing my vote.
Can you confirm that the colour balance for the grey is correct in these photos? I am seeing a slight bluish overtone on these (as compared to a completely neutral grey) on my calibrated display. (The overtone looks terrific IMO.) |
